This is floating around.

Grant County parents are very off the wall. They complain about everyone in every sport. They even complain about their own kid’s teammates. It is a weird place.

Weird place, are they really any different than any other place?  Parents complaining about other teammates is pretty common about every place.

After reading this post and a couple of the comments, I hope GCHS signs Coach Jones to a multi-year deal. 

P.S. Multi-year deals don't actually exist in high school sports.

Who would they want to take over at that place?  Not exactly an easy place to win at with Simon Kenton dominating the district historically and Walton-Verona an up-and-coming school for athletics being the 2nd most successful in recent years.

Wonder if they are the same parents who took their kids to play in AAU games at the end of the season and got a few of them suspended for the first game of the district tourney.

Thank you for asking, I was wondering the same thing.

There’s always some truth to stories like this.  Never get full truth from both sides. Parent with daddy google.  Coaches must have thick skin. The AD just got fired/non-renewed as well.  Wonder if it’s connected to this? Grant should be favored to win the district with all 5 starters returning. 

Truth is somewhere in the middle I am sure. Coaching today is not an easy feat and not for the faint of heart. Admin, AD, ect needs to be aligned more now than ever.
