Cov Cath's freshman schedule on Hudl is currently showing the Freddy Colonels as open on Oct 15. In the 2024 season they played Scott during that week and in the 2025 season they played Trinity. Trinity's schedule this year has them playing Louisville St. X that week. Scott's freshman schedule on Arbiter (which may or may not be complete) currently has them open that date, but they do a Monday night game the following week against Bellevue. Not sure if that would be an opportunity for Cov Cath's freshman team to fill in with someone, or if they might try to get a game against St. Henry, or one of the other teams from Cincinnati.

I have heard there has been some back and forth between Cov. Cath and St. Henry about their Frosh teams playing this year…..high level and nothing definite at all….

Looking at the 2026 Bluegrass Freshman Conference schedules, Boyle County initially had a bye week in their schedule for Oct 15, but they've gotten a game scheduled against the North Laurel freshmore squad. Bummer.

Bump.

Dixie Freshman will play against 3 varsity teams!

We are in need of a freshman team as Anderson OH has a schedule conflict. I have a few messages out to some schools. It's free, just need a team to fill Anderson's slot. First one to contact me gets the slot. PM me on here or email me at [email protected]

Covington Catholic has replaced Anderson OH.

Come out tomorrow morning to Dixie Heights to see the future of NKY High School Football compete in 7v7 action. Thank you to Funshine Childcare for sponsoring the event. Also thank you to NKOA and assignor Steve Fromeyer for scheduling officials for this event. There will be a food truck on-site, JoAnna's Colby Fries! Gates open at 8am, free admission! Games begin at 9:00am, Finals at 12:30pm. All teams will play 4 games. Also thank you to Coach Eddie Eviston and Covington Catholic as they were a late add to the event as Anderson OH had a conflict arise and had to withdrawal from the event.

Any updates on the Dixie 7 on 7 tournament?

Been an amazing event so far. Great crowd.

SK vs COV Cath for 5th place.

Cooper vs Walton for 3rd

Highlands vs Dixie in 1st place game

Headed home from Dixie. Will post scores and standings when I get home.

Thank you to all the teams that participated today. It was a great event that went really smooth. Kids got some great reps in. Great competition and great sportsmanship by all, players, coaches and spectators. The crowd was better than expected for this just being a 7v7. Wish I could have taken more than 8 teams this year but we definitely plan on expanding this event in 2027!

Also a shout out to and a big thank you to the officials of the NKOA who did a great job today as well.
