8-3 TIGERS  after 8.

Tigers 8-3, it's over.

Reds close out the month with a 3-game series with the Rockies beginning on Tuesday.

Reds are still in first place by a game as the Cubs also lose today.

Reds led 3-1 after 2 1/2 innings.

Reds pick up another run in the bottom of the 3rd inning and now led the Rockies 4-1.

Rockies pick up a run in the top of the 5th to make it now 4-2 Reds going to the top of the 6th.

Burns gets out of a jam in the top of the 6th the Rockies had runners on 2nd and 3rd with only 1 out but he got a strike out and a pop out to end the inning.

A good quality start by Burns tonight now the bullpen needs to keep the Rockies at bay.

Reds get 3 insurance runs in the bottom of the 8th and now led 7-2 heading into the 9th inning.

Reds get the win, 7-2.

Reds win the 7-3 and now have won 8 out of the last 10 and 10 out of the last 13 games and are 19-10.  Tomorrow's game is again at 6:40pm.
