For sure. If CovCath continues to hit the 3-ball well with their three sharpshooters, I see them winning state. You can't focus on shutting down just 1 or 2 Colonels.

Terry Boehmker would be the man to ask about that. He was a sports writer for the Kentucky Post for 26 years and still covers NKY sports with the Northern Kentucky Tribune. His book "9th Region Royalty" has a write-up on every championship game in the history of the 9th Region Tournament, and I believe it includes the scores from every game ever played in the tournament.

Cov Cath usually sits all of their varsity, JV, and oftentimes freshman coaches on the bench for varsity games. The way I look at it, sure, its a crowd on the bench, but it helps keep all of the coaches top-to-bottom obvserving, learning, practicing, and teaching the same system all four years. To me, that certainly seems like a positive in terms of the pipeline impact you can instill in the players from freshman year through senior year.
