The Warhawks of Great Crossing (22-11) and winners of their last 7 games will take on the Broncos of Frederick Douglass (23-6) winners of their last 13 games in the championship game of the 11th region on Monday night at 7:00pm at EKU. This is the 2nd straight season these two have met for the 11th region crown. Great Crossing won last year's battle 59-57 on their way to winning the state. This is the Warhawks 3rd straight year playing in the title game. Great Crossing defeated Lexington Catholic 50-42 in today's first semifinal game. The Broncos defeated the #1 ranked Madison Central Indians 58-49. This should be a good game they have played this season, but it was back on Dec. 2 won by Douglass 74-65. I think the Broncos are just a bit better than the Warhawks, but we will see. The Broncos better come ready to play and not think they already won the title on Saturday.

I've been very impressed with how Great Crossing has grown as the season went along.  I don't see them winning this one, but would not be completely shocked if they aren't in it the whole game with a chance to win.  That being said, I'll take Frederick Douglass 72-54.

Douglass has gone ice cold and now trail 21-13 with 1:14 left in the half. The Broncos have been outscored 13-2 in the 2nd quarter.

Coen being the Broncos' leading scorer is BAD news. Surratt has GOT to figure it out and start scoring!!! Broncos trail 24-27 with 2:07 in the 3rd.
