Question about the Holy Cross gym. Why is the visitor fan section across from the home bench, and home fan section across from the visitor's bench? 
 

And---in the second half, doesn't it make more sense for the fans to be sitting near their teams' scoring basket?

The Holy Cross fans/students for the boys games is aligned on the same side of the gym as the boys locker room. When the girls play they are on the other side aligned with the same side of the gym as their locker room. It's a little odd but it works for us.

As far as the game, Holy Cross came out a little slow with all the senior night festivities and St. Henry did a great job of jumping out early leading by 8 or 9. HC would start hitting their stride late first quarter and then they played downhill rest of the game. The biggest difference in this game from recent games for HC was they made perimeter jump shots. Clearly the plan for St. Henry was to allow the 3-point shot and perimeter shots and the Indians finally got hot from 3. They end the night 11/22 from 3 with senior Luke Arlinghaus knocking down 5 of them. With the win Holy Cross wins their 20th game of the season. They will play Beechwood next Wednesday at 7:30 pm at Holy Cross in the first round of the 35th district tournament.

* Good luck to St. Henry vs Dixie in the district tournament next week. Nothing but love and respect for Coach Tim Sullivan. He has had a great first year for the Crusaders.

Your quote about student taking teacher to school sounded like Coach Johnson had some great game plan to execute vs his former mentor, which couldn’t be further from the truth. This was about HC having a far better talented team with horses that SH certainly doesn’t have, nothing more.
