I like the Colonels in this one.  Moeller plays a very active zone defense, which should be interesting to watch CovCath attack it.  They also want to get in transition on misses, especially long miss

McGillis with a 3 just before the halftime buzzer. 40-29 Cov Cath at the half.

Myrick was shooting the lights out. Teaching defenses to not play Zone against him. McGillis with 20 assists in the last 2 games. 10 assists and 8 rebounds in this one. Courtney played great tonight also. If he continued to play big on the boards he could help CCH on the way to Rupp in a big way.

?? A bit of a coming out party for Dylan Courtney - a career high 10 points including a nice Q4 dunk. Athens McGillis had another double-double - 10 assists to go with his 14 points. No points - no problem for Cash Harney: 7 assists, 2 rebounds, and senior leadership. This team is so unselfish. I was a little concerned coming in with Moeller's height advantage; CCH handled it well and the pace didn't devolve into a GCL rugball scrum.

?? I've followed Moeller this season and shared video with folks while looking ahead to this game. Danny Kelly (6-7 SR F) DNP. Not one of the great Moeller teams of past years, but very, very good, and have improved throughout the season. The future is bright on Montgomery Road with youngsters - Donald, Abraham, and the Trenz boys.

? The Massey Ratings' match-up prediction for tonight: Cov Cath 62 Moeller 57.

The Crusaders rating of 7.76, No. 13 in Ohio, would slot them in at No. 4 in Kentucky.

? Stats from the CAN ~

Cov Cath: % 58/43/100. 25 assists on 29 made field goals. 9 turnovers. 24 rebounds.

? scoreboard/CCH v Moeller stats

Moeller: % 49/54/75. 14 turnovers. 21 rebounds.

Colonels: Myrick 28p 1r 2a 3s; Bradshaw 16p 5r 1a 1s 1b; McGillis 14p 6r 10a; Courtney 10p 3r 3a 2s 1b; Gaiser 2p 2r; Harney 2r 7a; Stava 1r 1a
