Final from Winchester. A heck of a game.

Montgomery may have lost the first two battles, but they may very well win the war. I look for these two teams to play 2 more times this season. Austin Sears, I believe had 25 in first game of the season.

Sears looked like he’s been in Mt Sterling since he was born. The Indians are SCARY!

Was Montgomery out of timeouts after the last basket? There was almost 5 seconds remaining and they allowed time to run out. That’s not a lot of time but anything might happen on an inbound play.

Yes. They were out of timeouts. GRC did not have to throw the ball in. 

I thought GRC’s sophomore Ryder Akins looked really good in this game. He guarded Tyce Jarvis and did a great job. Blocked him 3 times and Terry once. I think he had 22 pts and a nice dunk in the first half. He is a strong looking guard.

Who is the lefty for GRC that made several 3s? He was big for the Cardinals tonight. Made some clutch shots when they really needed them to keep his team narrowly in the lead throughout most of the game. 

The lefty for GRC is Sophomore Ryder Akins. I was told he had 22 or 24 tonight.

Looks to be shaping up to be a repeat of last year.

He was the difference maker.
