Way too much going for it on 4th & goal this weekend. What’s bad about three points five minutes into the game?

Now the Patriots go for it on 4th and 4 from and they get it.

End of the first quarter it is 0-0 but the Patriots have it first and 10 at the Chargers 11 to begin the 2nd quarter.

The Patriots now have it 4th and 4 from the Chargers 5 and they are actually going to the FG form 22 yards and the get it and take the first led at 3-0 with 13:32 left in the first half.

How did the refs miss that hit to Herbert's head? Maybe it was a no call make up after giving the Chargers a first down on that QB sneak. 

The Patriots end the half with a 35-yard field goal to go up 6-3. The Chargers will get the ball to start the 2nd half.

The Game times have been released for next week's Divisional Round Playoff games.

The Chargers the first drive was a 3 and out to start the 2nd half and the Pats had a nice 11 play drive but they turn it over again this time a fumble by May. Drake May has now turned it over twice and the defense of the Patriots have bailed him out each time as the Chargers did not score any points off either turnover.

One thing about Drake May even after 2 turnovers he has not been phased by it and is still slinging it. The Chargers need to hold to another FG here or they could be in serious trouble.

The Chargers hold again to only a 39-yard FG to make it now 9-6 with 1:34 left in the 3rd quarter.

Touchdown Patriots!

Touchdown Patriots! That was a heck of a drive and a great throw by May for possibly the game clinching touchdown. The Pats now led 16-3 with 9:44 to play.

That probably breaks the streak for all of the Wild Card games being one score games as the Patriots get a strip sack and have the ball back up 13 with 8:08 to play.

Herbert has not looked good throwing the ball in this game. Off target on a good number of throws.
