I think Ole Miss is on a mission here and wanting to prove that they "don't need Kiffin" and this whole thing is giving these young men an extra layer of motivation. Miami's defense is nasty, but something about this Ole Miss situation makes me feel like they are playing with a little added motivation. I think Miami should win, but I am going with Ole Miss.

I was of the thinking that yeah OSUs offense is machine but what Miami did to it made me pay attention. In this one the one thing Ole Miss has going for them is they can score points and Miami's offense isn't exactly all that. I'm taking Ole Miss.

The Miami defense turned the defense up on the Rebels on that first possession.

The Canes have picked up a first down and at the Ole Miss 40.

3-0 Miami.

The Miami defense is looking strong here in the early going.

Then just like that from not getting a first down to a 73-yard touchdown run by Lacy and they now led Miami 7-3.

The Hurricanes are now in the redzone with a first and 10 at the Rebels 12 yard line.

Miami answers back with a touchdown by Brown to give the Canes the lead back at 10-7 with 7:08 left in the first half.

Ole Miss aided by a roughing passer penalty gets a 42 yard FG to tie it at 10 with 4:38 left in the first half.

The Canes answer back with a 52-yard touchdown pass from Beck to Marion to take back the lead at 17-10 with 2:18 left in the first half.

Fun game!

That Miami D is tough.

Ole Miss kicker is a good one that one was from 68 yards plus he hit some big ones against Georgia.
