“Kentucky having trouble scoring and Alabama has five threes” says Dan Shulman…and every Kentucky fan. How in the world was this lineup put together and considered to be good shooters?

Timeout Kentucky with 3:55 left in the first half it is now 40-21 Bama. We are not playing very hard in my opinion especially on the defensive side of the ball.

So far Alabama is shooting 54% from the field 14-26 and 44% from 3 they are 8-18. Plus, they have outrebounded the Cats 19-12, The Cats only have 3 assists compared to the Tide's 10 assists.

Terrible on that last play Chandler goes under the screen and gives up a open 3 to end the half. Alabama puts 50 on the board for the first half and led the Cats 50-34.

Allowed 50 in a half to a hollowed out Alabama team whose best player has three fouls. Wasn’t the entire roster constructed in response to losses to Alabama last year? Job well done…

Has Pope checked out? Alabama made their last basket with 6 seconds left. Nobody for Kentucky even bothered to try to call a time out, to draw up a play to get more points before the half. 

The graphic said this was the largest halftime lead for Bama over UK in 30 years. 

The Cats have not shot the ball well from either 2's, 3's, or the foul line. They are just 38% from the field, 22% from 3 and just 67% from the line. Alabama is shooting 52% from the field, 45% from 3 and 86% from the line.

I assume because they had already called their lose it timeout at the 3:55 mark.

Genuinely worried about him being in Gillespie territory. Not the personal issues, just the absolute overwhelming nature of the position. And I can’t prove it, but it looks like he hates this team.

I feel like that's been a common narrative that he has kinda alluded to in some press conferences.

He exceeded expectations last year, and I still say to compare to Billy G is way too far.  Billy never got remotely close to a single NCAA tourney win, let alone two. But, he's going to have to show some fight this year and next year they have to get back on track.  You cannot allow this to fester long.  They just don't look like a top flight team in the least.
