It was pretty clear early on that the district belonged to NCC, which has carried over to the point of the season that it’s at.

The extra points have to be addressed in a serious fashion if the Breds have a realistic chance of getting past the 2nd or 3rd round. Maybe take 15-20 minutes of practice every day and work on that. At this point in the season you need to work on your Achilles heel.

I was very surprised how easy NewCath ran the ball tonight. I came into the game expecting Bellevue to slow the run game way down, kudos to the Breds.  Next week will be a big challenge, but a necessary one against Mason co.

No surprise to me. Back at the start of the season after Beechwood blasted NCC and people were questioning them, I said New Cath would be good when they got to the 1A part of the schedule.

I expect them to make it 5 wins in a row next week when they play Mason County.

NewCath did whatever they wanted. Gotta clean up the missed PAT’s.
Onto Mason Co…

not sure the last time NewCath lost the district title, but it never gets old.

They've won the district every season but one since 2007. In 2017, playing in Class 2A, the Breds finished runners-up to Lloyd Memorial.

Appreciate the knowledge!! I’d say that’s a nice little dominant footprint on Class A football in NKY.
Couple that with what is coming up  through the ranks…I don’t see that changing any time in the next 5 or so years… Great time to be a Thoroughbred!
