Who are some of the best post players in the 10th Region?

 

Bracken Co. has Chelsea Ahrens, Brittany Jeffeson, and Alex Rogers..

All of these young girls do a lot of things well on the post.. Alex is probably the most consistent out of this bunch, but the other two play key roles in the Lady Bears success.

 

What do you all think?

I liked what I saw from Ahrens in limited minutes.

 

Danis from Montgomery County is very good. So is Torrey Chambers of Mason County when she eliminates the cheap fouls.

None of the best post players in the 10th region come from Bracken County. District maybe,but not in the region. When you lose 13 out of your last 15 or 16 it would be hard to say that you have the best of anything,but potential-wise, the sky is the limit.

Kiki Brown from Scott is a pretty good post player as is there 8th grader not sure on her name. I think there are alot of solid post players in the 10th regiom though.

I know Rutherford from St. Pat and Kelch from Pendleton Co. looked good against us

Kelsch has become quite the powerhouse in the middle for PC. She leads this team not only in scoring but as a true leader. She has to be the best "team" player we have seen in a long time, always talking her teammates up and gives 110 at all times. Keep it up Nat!!!

I would go with Carmack from Deming.. as around this area, Guess we will soon see if they dont get snowed out soon

From the games that I have seen with Carmack from Deming, I think she plays out on the floor way too much, I think she would be more effective down low.

I have to go with Courtney Danis of Montgomery Co. and also Whitney Montgomery of Clark Co. They both make their presense known in the paint.:fight:

Paris' 6-1 junior center Lauren Forsythe is coming around and she along with Emily Hinkson gives Paris a nice one-two punch in the middle.

Forsythe is only a junior???? WOW seems like she has been around for a while.

Yes, Harrison played well and yes, Forsythe made the difference! Not in my wildest dreams for one minute I thought I would ever say ... Forsythe made a difference!

I don't think Desarae Chambers from Mason is listed as post player but when she does go into the paint it generally ends up 1 of 2 things. 2 points or 3 points!
