Rumor has it, that he MIGHT move accouple of miles North of Whitley!!! But, again that is just rumor, fact is that his daughter did transfer schools though...interesting, to say the least!!

Not sure he will be the best coach in the 12th if he does come.

Why would he leave Whitley to go to North Laurel?

Money? I'm pretty sure that he is making much more money at Whitley than North would pay.

Talent? For the most part, he would have to settle for the players that South Laurel does not take.

Less traveling? It is closer to London than Williamsburg from Somerset.

Outside influences? Probably a wash.

Better chance to make the regional tourney?

Happiness might be more important to the Coach than all those factors combined. I have not seen where the North Job is open? To be naming a new Coach now is a bit premature and kinda disrespectful to Coach Conway, in my opinion. I think Coach Conway is a class guy and seems to have done a good job at North considering all he has been through.

Conway has done a good job at North. Some might like to see him go to insure the status quo in Laurel County though.
