The Stewart at bat was bad. His whole head set there should have been do not swing at any low pitches. They were pitching for the double play grounder. I would have taken pitches till he threw something in the top half of the zone.

The only hit after bases were loaded went straight to the second baseman.

As you watch these two teams bat, the difference is massive. The Dodger hitters get the bat on the ball when they swing, even if they swing at a pitch off the plate. But they rarely swing at balls. The Reds can't make contact on pitches thrown in the strike zone.

Just sad. Of course we are going to be the only team in the playoffs not to force a 3rd game.

There are 18 cities whose team isn't in the playoffs.

The Dodgers did what they had to do with players on bases and the Reds didn’t, simple as that. 

The one thing that gives the Reds hope is the Dodger bullpen. But I don't think the Reds are capable of scoring 6 runs in 3 innings even off the Dodger bullpen. And Dave Stewart knows that too sending Yamamoto out again.

I feel like we are sailors/explorers in the 1500s that have been at sea for 7 months.  We returned home a couple of days ago and it is already time to go on another long expedition. 

The biggest mystery of this season for me is McClain at the plate. Two years ago he was the best hitter on the team. He can't make contact on strikes. Pitchers throw fastballs right down the middle at the top of the zone and he rarely makes contact. He swings at bad pitches. He is completely lost at the plate.  

Well, rather typical for this season.  What is sad is I wasn't that excited they made the playoffs.  Deep down I knew, leopards don't change their spots.  

These Dodger hitters are just unreal. They hit the crap out of balls that are great pitches out of the strike zone. Earlier in the game Ohtani swung at a pitch 6 inches inside and almost knocked it out of the park.
