CCH was lights last night.

If Scott could learn to finish a game they'd be pretty decent.

Sharp was double teamed and he couldn't find an open man because his teammates didn't get into the open gaps of the defense.

 

 

I guess Scott needs 5 Nate Sharp's then. Not a knock on him but he had a bad game and the team suffered because He is the glue of the Eagles and nights he doesn't perform well the eagles don't either. With that said he is a terrific player who had an off night, once again i see him bouncing back and putting huge numbers up against Conner.

No. Its only a T if it was deemed an intentional act designed to cause the ball to not go in. If it occurs during a valid attempt to block a shot, its nothing.

however if (in the judgement of the official) it shakes the backboard and directly causes a shot that was going to go in to be missed - the official may call goal tending. It's a judgement call for the trailing official.

Yoda, I'm going to challenge you to support the fact that an unintentional slappint of the backboard can ever be BI or GT. Its not listed in any of the criteria for either of those.

 

4-6 only deals with the ball being touched while its in the cylinder or touching of the cylinder while the ball is in the cylinder.

 

4-22 only deals with where the ball is when it is touched.

 

Neither have any mention of touching the backboard.

 

This rule was changed to add the intentional aspect in about 2000.
