Beechwood at Licking Heights (OH) Scrimmage Predictions/Updates

Featured Replies

Beechwood travels to Licking Heights up in Columbus Ohio. Should be a good scrimmage.

Does anyone know how Licking Heights performed the last couple of years?

They are #68 in Division 2 in Maxpreps preseason rankings so I would think Beechwood a lot better.

LH total enrollment is over 1,100 with approximately 600 boys.  Ohio Divisions are reverse of Ky with Div. 7 being the smallest and Div. 1 the largest.  Would be a 5A in Ky.

Varsity played the 1st half.

Beechwood was up 42-0 at half time.

Queen was 15-17 for 284 Yards and 3 TDs

Fryman 6 catches for 169 and 2 TDs

Pabst 5 catches for 52

Aylor 3 catches for 52 and a TD

Pabst 3 TDs rushing

Seems like Beechwood could find a better team to scrimmage. That Ohio team is terrible.

The story is Beechwood had trouble finding a team to scrimmage. Last year they scrimmaged Cooper but Cooper supposedly said no scrimmage this year and Beechwood had trouble replacing them.

Beechwood hasn’t scrimmaged Cooper for the last 2 years. Purcell Marian was the other scrimmage last year, and yes, Beechwood has a hard time finding scrimmage partners. I can promise you, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd options were not to load up the Cheese Wagons and drive 2+ hours in 90+ degree heat to find a willing scrimmage partner, but beggars can’t be choosers, it was at least a half of football against someone wearing different uniforms. Young guys that are now starting, got good live reps.
