    LSU wins its 8th College World Series title and 2nd in the last 3 years with a 5-3 win this afternoon over Coastal Carolina. This is the 6th straight College World Series Championship for the SEC.

    The first inning ejections of head coach Kevin Schnall and first base coach Ryan Shilling were interesting. Neither of those guys are usually like that. Will be interesting to talk to the guys when they return as I imagine there will be a get together at The Palace. The back up catcher is Bryce(?) Estep from Beechwood.
