I don’t believe I’ve ever seen the first two games of a regional tournament both go to double overtime.

Mercer Co. wins 53/47 in Double OT.  

Mercer Co. played all 5 starters all game.  Not sure I’ve ever seen that especially in a double OT game.  Wayne Co. I think only subbed once maybe twice.

Has there ever been a better opening night? 

Quite a night; couple of battles into OT. Teams not going gently into that good night.

That’s really only possible when both teams are scoring at that slow of a pace I would imagine.

5ft 7inch 120 lb 8th grade point guard knocks down 6ft 6 inch 200lb senior center in the lane? It’s questionable to say the least. Lot of folks from Wayne think the Cards got a bad whistle most of the night.
