SC may be 35 poiint underdogs. Huntington has the top 6 ranked players in the state of West Virginia. Can you imagine of the top 6 players in Kentucky all played for the same school? All 6 of the Huntington top 6 Huntington players are D1. Their 6th man recently committed to Oklahoma. Huntington has won either 2 or 3 consecutive state championships.

What about Radio in the southern Lexington area? Or Streaming radio?

Scott County lost to Arlington Country Day by 15. HHS is a LOT better than ACD. HHS has more weapons. Maybe AJ Stewart and Patrick Patterson offset each other, then HHS has Mayo and several other players who are all very good.

 

If SC can keep the tempo slow and maintain possession, they can keep the score close. I have not seen a team transition as fast as HHS....they are a blur.

 

 

 

You don't know coach Hicks very well. He LOVES to get up and down. I don't think he'll change his style for this game. Scott Co. will press and trap all over the floor.

Yes, it is Friday night. I am pretty sure it will be on the 630 am Radio station in Lexington, but I don't know about a web broadcast...

He's not eligible to play according to Channel 3 News. The principal at the school ruled him ineligible for the next 3 games (or 4, I can't remember which they said.) They didn't say anything about the other 4 that were orignally ejected.

Not true. According to the news station the suspension will start after the game with Scott Co. Here is the quote from their web site:

 

WSAZ has also been told that the suspension will not start until after Friday's game against Scott County. The 14-day suspension will affect four games.

They aren't very deep. Their 6th man is about as far as they go. If you can get to the players 7-10, you have a chance of winning. If Scott County can get Patterson in foul trouble, then they also have a chance to win. Walls and Mackey can stay with the guards of Huntington, including OJ.

Only if it is a tightly refereed game. In the LC game, the refs. pretty much let ticky tack stuff go - both ways. Where are the refs. coming from for this game....or does it matter?
