Sommerset come back from 10 down midway thru the 3rd. qtr. for the win . Congrats to the Sommerset ladies.

Congradulations to Sommerset. Hold your heads up Lady Rams. We love you girls.

Vanderhoff had a heck of a game, sounded like everyone else just never seemed to get untracked. Heck of an effort though.

Tough loss for the Lady Rams. Keep your heads up, you have nothing to be ashamed of at all.You gave it your all and left it all out on the floor, thats all anyone can ask. Congrats to R. Vanderhoof on leading all scorers with 20pts. , Paige Porter was next in the Lady Rams scoring with 7pts. and Katelynd Porter provided some excellent defense along with the Raceland team. Lady Rams, this community and this oldrambler are proud of you. You have made us proud :thumb: and the season is not over. Lets just get back to work on the rest of the season and get ready for the 63rd. district touney.

Congratulations to Somerset on a great never say die attitude. They never quit and made a great comeback.

Tough loss for the Lady Rams.

What adjustments did Coach A. make to stop Ms. Vanderhoof?

Congrats Lady Jumpers and good luck on the next game!!

Just finished listening to the post game comments by Coach Bob Trimble. All class! :thumb:

I was hoping those easy shots they were getting early in the game but could not get to go down would not come back to haunt them. But that is just basketball, It didnt sound like Raceland played their best game and still had a chance at the end to get a win. Gritty effort though!

You are correct, Raceland shot only 29% from the field and missed several shots that normally fall for them. I believe they had around 6 or 7 layups/2ft. shots missed in the 1st half, most of them in the 1st qtr.. The Lady Rams defense kept them in it untill the end, had a couple of chances to tie and take the lead back late but had a couple of bad breaks. Just have to pick it up now and get on with the rest of the season, Raceland imo is one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the 16th overall region and could be a factor in it.

Congrats to Somerset, but I really would have liked to see the Ramblerettes move on.

I know that you were pulling for them, Old Shooter. I love to see people from one 16th Region school rooting for the teams that do advance.

Class move, Old Shooter. Class. :thumb:

What happened to Whitney Seals? I heard she was going to play Division 1. If she cant compete against Somerset how will she compete vs D 1 players?
