Pelle is one of the best players in the state. Nathan Sharp is solid, but he should be your 6th.

Sharp, he is a good player but I don't think he would be in my starting lineup or even first man off the bench.

Montgomery Co. #3 team in the region and only one player from made any post on here?? Either they are just a well balanced team or somebody is hating!

 

Records can be deceiving; Montgomery County has 16 wins but they have won 10 of those against Class A schools. Montgomery has one of the highest enrollments in the 10th Region, but for some reason schedules a bunch of small schools. Then when they play the big boys (Brossart, Clark, Mason), they come up short. They seem to lack a true point guard; the guy that seems to run the point (#10) the best isn't a starter.

 

To their credit, they hung tough with Clark and they do have a nice win against Clay County; but there's no way they're the 3rd best team in the 10th. Mason, Clark, Brossart and Scott are better; and Pendleton may be catching up.

 

Utterback is a nice player, but he doesn't make my top 6. A couple of the guys from Scott, Brossart and Mason are a little ahead of him IMO.

Montgomery completely shut him down the first time they played and that was when their center, Stephens was out with a bad shoulder.

IMO this is perfect. Haven't seen Pelle play thus far this year, but from what I have heard he must be great.

Pelle is playing against sub-par players. If some of the guards played SG schedule they would probably have the same numbers. I like the kid but, I would have to see him play against BETTER players before I will put him up with the likes of the top guards. If you look at head to head sharp out played him. The only reason Pelle scored his points was when Scott called off the dogs and the coach left Pelle in to get his points. He did not come out of the game at the end when they were down by 25.

Remember he also has no help people will say what about Wiseman but he really is not that good also nobody inside at all. When he plays all defense set up to stop him they play different versions of the box and one. You try to go out and score 30 a night and give your team a chance to win with that.

Like I said he is playing sub par teams. The only team they have played so far is Scott an he did not do much until JV came in. That is when he put up the numbers. I would like to see him against quality guards more often than once a month.

Wiseman is a good player. He is a good shooter.
