When we play our matches at Ft. Thomas Country Club, the girls HAVE to walk the hills and are not allowed pull carts per Country Club. It is hilly also.

People say hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do and that arguably is true. But if the baseball lands anywhere in an area that is some 350 to 400 feet in length and a couple of hundred feet in width, it is good.

 

For golf, that would be OB or wet or in some serious trouble. Golf you hit the ball about twice in length and have about a 20 -30 yard landing level. In golf, you have to hit the ball to CF EVERYTIME. Hit the ball to LF and you are in the woods. Hit the ball to RF and you are in OB.

THe highlighted are "bar sports". Lawn Darts would fall under the horseshoes, corn hole, lawn darts section of games. Golf doesn't fall into either of those categories.

Good points.:thumb: I think a pro golfer (can't remember who) made this clear to Ted Williams once while discussing this issue.
