Kentucky Country Day travels across town to play at Louisville Holy Cross in a very good intriguing matchup of two small schools.

Kentucky Country Day (4-2) is coming off a 40 to 0 blowout win of LaRue County.

Louisville Holy Cross (3-3) is coming off a win over Nelson County 41 to 22.

This will be a fun close match up between two of your best small schools in the Louisville area. I'll take the KCD bearcats in a nailbiter.

I got my eye on this one.

One thing that did exclude me before the season started was that Louisville Holy Cross starting quarterback transferred out to Valley. I didn’t get to catch that one until later in the season here.

I just might show up at this game this weekend… Gonna be a Good One ??

This might be the best 1A game in the state this weekend, I’ll go with KCD.

The poll is currently 5-0, KCD.

Has been a really good rivalry as of late. Have a lot of respect for both of these small school programs. KCD looks to be stronger this season than the Cougars.

This should be an an absolute barn burner.

I will be attending this Class A district rivalry game and providing live updates. Should be a great game!

Here we go!

Louisville Holy Cross gets one 1st down on first drive but has to punt. KCD gets first possession on its own 29 8:50 to go in first.

Couple of offensive penalties for KCD pushes them back and they are forced to punt on their first drive without any first downs. Holy Cross takes over on own 35 6:58 to go in first quarter. There is no score.

Another penalty forces KCD to punt again. Holy Criss starts drive on their own 45.

Holy Cross gets couple first downs but drive stalls on 4th and 10 as they go for it and turn it over on downs on KCD 27 yard line. 3:31 to go in first quarter. KCD ball and starts drive on own 27.
