Holy Cross goes for it 4th and 1 at own 23 and is stopped. KCD takes over 4:00 to go in 3rd at Holy Cross 23. Do not understand going for it there.

@theguruvery good one. I hope my coverage is doing it justice.

Of course you are kicking tail.

On 4th and 10 from 23 QB Caleb Long connects on 23 yard TD pass to Miller Bates for his second TD catch of day. Extra point is no good. 2:52 left in the third quarter. 26 to 13 KCD leads. This is Bates first two TDS of season and looking at the stats on Khsaa it does not look like he has been playing.

Holy Cross turns it over on downs again as 4th and 9 at KCD 29 does not convert. End of third quarter KCD takes over possession and leads 26 to 13.

KCD is flexing their muscle here and the ground game is just flat out wearing Holy Cross down. The Bearcats have a nice team and very interested to see how they compare against the other two teams Campbellsville and Bethlehem in a very good district.

KCD punts Holy Cross takes over on own 20 7:04 to go in game. KCD leads 26 to 13.

4:40 to go in game Holy Cross is driving. 1st and 10 on KCD 25.

Nice lil trick play as QB Jerek Hoover throws lateral pass to RB Jamari Pennebaker and then he throws a 25 yard TD strike to Chris Rumbaugh who is wide open. Extra point fails. 4:18 left in game KCD leads 26 to 19.

KCD is forced to punt. Holy Cross ball on own 16. 3:03 to go! Here we go!

Interception for  Brohm Garlove and ran back for a TD by the Bearcats. Extra point is good KCD leads 33 to 19. 2:42 to go. Huge play.

Final KCD 33 Lou. Holy Cross 19.
