Any insight here?

I am surprised that Christian County put up 36 on Murray honestly. I was wondering if they made up ground at the end or if it was a game. I have linked the article to the game, seems like Christian gave them a decent run.

Thanks TP!  That's surprising to me.  Christian County hosts BG in a few weeks so keeping up with their path.  The Mayfield vs Murray game should be an interesting one this year.

The question is can they beat Mayfield?

They have the offensive firepower to give themselves a shot, but the way the defense performed against Christian County gives me pause. Let's see how they look this week against McCracken County, a common opponent of Mayfield's.

Calloway transfer Wyatt Robbins has been tearing it up - 31/35 passing, 410 yards of total offense, and seven touchdowns against the Colonels.

The outcome of the game was never really in question.  Murray scored on 9/10 possessions.  The Qb looks to have command of the offense and is clicking on all cylinders.  Robbins was 31/35 for the game.  89% is impressive any day.

The defense did not play like they have been in recent weeks.  The Tigers seem to be moving people around as they have a couple of key injuries on the defensive side of the ball. They are hopeful on getting them back as McCracken comes calling and district play is around the corner.

I don't see BG having any issues in that game.  CC looked a bit better than at the start of the season, but their defense is not very disciplined to compete with the Purples.

Congrats Murray I’ll say this I don’t think it’s crazy to say that Murray Mayfield is gonna be alot closer then we think Murray McCracken will be a good game for sure Murray won this one in a close game last year. Definitely curious to see how the Tigers play against McCracken Friday.

Was happy to see Christian County improving.. They really got some nice looking skill kids specially at the WR spot. If they can improve getting more numbers out and get some size on the line they could win some game next season. They got a good shot winning this Friday..
