Great opening game, I have so much respect for NDSU. 

Good teams win. Great teams cover.

Proud of my Bison. While “just an FCS team,” NDSU is a stout opponent (would probably be ranked 40-50 in FBS) that gave the Buffs all they wanted. 

Another long season of whining and excuses upcoming in Boulder. 

NDSU simply didn't have the athletes to keep up with Colorado. Like literally keep up. It was obvious that Hunter and even Horn were almost impossible for the Bison to cover. 

Shedeur did his part, he played well I thought. The apparently upgraded their OL, but it seemed like to me he was still having to move around a lot. 

They will struggle against defenses that can cover Hunter and Horn, and their defense looks to be swiss cheese again.

There was an image going around several days ago of NDSU in the FCS title game 3 years ago. The entire OL shown is either on an NFL roster or had a cup of coffee in the big leagues. Point being, they generally have the horses up front to compete with the majority of FBS, but on the edges it gets tricky, which was the case last night. Ironically enough, on the field during that same game I’m referencing from 3 years ago, Christian Watson (Green Bay Packers) was their star WR. As most know, this ain’t your normal FCS program, as evident by winning 8 titles in 11 years. But yeah, I’m not seeing a path forward for Colorado. 

Colorado got away with multiple penalties in the second half that I saw. Hunter shoved off on two big catches then spun the ball on the ground after an td which should have be unsportsmanlike penalty and there was definitely a targeting call missed on the last NDSU that could have made a difference.
