Hoops Yoda
Once again - Cov Cath does all the little things to win a ball game. They were knocking down some big time 3's but they also got EVERY loose ball. They seldom turned the ball over. They all play so hard. It should be a fun game to watch tomorrow night against Scott Co.
cch5432
Aaron Noll with his second double digit rebounding effort in a row...next up, Scott County.
Hoops Yoda
They could give Scott Co. a lot of trouble. They are such good passers that when Scott co traps Cov Cath will get open shots.

Theoldguy
Stats The NDA Father/Daughters Dance was great, but I sure wish I could have seen this game live. Thanks Mark/Michael and especially Annie Wehry for letting your Dad do this game....

colonel-fan
Senior guard Kurt Bovard scored 18 points, including five 3-pointers, as Covington Catholic defeated Louisville Male 66-56 Friday night in the semifinals of the Toyota Classic at Scott County. The Colonels, ranked No. 1 in the Enquirer Northern Kentucky coaches' poll, extended their win streak to nine since a 55-47 loss at Male Dec. 28. "I think this win speaks volumes about the improvements we've made over the last 10 games," Covington Catholic coach Mike Listerman said. "We're working together better and the pieces are starting to fall in place. I still think we can play better, but the kids have been very attentive and have bought in to our offensive and defensive philosophies." Junior forward Michael Grimes had 12 points and seven rebounds for the Colonels. CovCath advances to play Scott County in the championship of the Toyota Classic at 9 p.m. today. a25765t
I like the way the team has played like a team these last two wins. They have been working the ball well and not taking forced shots.
gold sunrise
Nice win for Cov Cath. a couple of their players were draining the 3's last night. Fun group of kids to watch play. Male is not the team that played in the 5/3 They were without their center Hayman and a starting guard...it showed. Also Male missed alot of shots that they normally make. Best of luck to Cov. Cath against Scott Co tonight.
BIGBLUE63
qryche11 Good short handed win tonight over an athletic Male team but Scott Co has no problem with the Colonels tomorrow night. They are just loaded and without Jacobs and Schulte, it could be a 20 pt victory. I think you will be surprised that CCH will give Scott Co. a run for their money. King Rex
If you want a seat, and your not from Scott County forget it. You will be up top. Scott County has already printed the Championship T shirts. Every team that is invited might as well be called the Washington Generals. It's the Scott County dog and pony show. :fire:
