Reds at Giants (5/10 - 5/12)

Featured Replies

Reds start their west coast swing tonight at San Fran for a 3 game series before heading on to Arizona. First pitch is at 10:15 tonight. Their game tomorrow is a 7:15 and will be on Fox. The Reds are coming into this riding an 8 game losing streak and 1-9 in their last 10.

Golly, I am so old that I think fundamentals are still important.  Things like make contact when runners are in scoring position, or catch the ball with two hands (did artificial turf take all the bad hops away ?, even on fly balls coaches would holler quit showing off and your out of position to grab the ball and throw), or hit behind the runner, or never get thrown out at 2nd to 3rd when ground ball is hit in front of you.  Gee whiz, game sure has changed.  Old ruddy-Duffy here!

Currently 4-1 Giants in the 7th game 2.   Reds have had 3 runners thrown out at second trying to stretch out a double.

Tough one to let get away today after a nice early lead.

Ridiculous, BIG difference between being aggressive and being stupid, this team has no leadership ANYWHERE!!!
