Next Level AAU girls Basketball team blocked from tournament

So they’re cool with them playing the regular season but when it’s time for the tournament they block them, sounds pretty poor!

If you really have a problem which is sad then block them from the next year….. Don’t ban them from the end of the year tournament.

This 6th grade team that was blocked was putting up some big numbers against the boys.

This same team is currently 21-0 winning all 5 tournament championships they've played in.

I cannot think of any reason why they shouldn't be allowed to play.

Let them compete as long as they can against boys. It is for a limited time and if they want to pursue this as long as they can, no reason to stop them.

Question - what size basketball is used by boys at this age? Are they regulation size or the smaller girls/junior sized ball? At what age do boys move to the varsity regulation size?

Whoever is running that league shouldn't be... That's one of the more embarrassing things I've read in a while.

6th grade boys use varsity regulation size.

6TH grade boys use the smaller ball in Ohio 28.5 (not until they reach the 9th grade do they used the bigger ball 29.5 in Ohio)

If a boys team dominated a girls league there would be an uproar.

Why would a boys team play in a girls league?

I'm just saying.
