I guess we have to get something here in NKY.  I know there was a bunch of snow talk but it is 50 and sunny here in Florence today.

It seems that this system is currently moving in a more southerly direction. Rain is expected to precede precipitation. The rain should change into snow as arctic air takes over. The amount of possible accumulation varies throughout the models. Some areas of the Cumberland Parkway to the south and east may have seen light freezing rain. According to the forecast, everything will begin on Friday afternoon or evening and end early on Sunday morning. Since this system will be moving quickly, regions that may get snow accumulations shouldn't expect more than 1-4 inches.

It does seem like those of us in NKY will end up seeing snow on the ground from this unless something changes at the last minute.

We've got stuff planned with 3 other couples tomorrow night.  But if it turns into euchre and drinks at our house I would be just fine.

Initial alert regarding potential snow accumulation. One could expect a general 1-3".

I just wanted to check in with everyone. For those in the Cincinnati/NKY area, the snow may begin to interfere with rush hour this evening. In general, locations that receive any snowfall can anticipate 1-3" of snowfall.
