I was in and out of the livestream. Nathan Vinson scored 40(?) for the Bluebirds. I don't think Brayden Moeves, Highlands leading scorer played. Vinnie Listerman is a scrapper, which is to say - pure Listerman.

Lloyd's EJ Walker had an atypically poor night at the charity stripe ~5/12, missed five in a row in the final minutes, which kept it interesting.

Highlands was limping into this game with the teams leading scorer Brayden Moeves (17 pts/gm) and the 3rd leading scorer Hank Shick (8 pts/gm) OUT.

On paper this was not supposed to be close.

 

We'll know a lot more about the Juggernauts by this time next week - tomorrow at Oldham Co., Monday vs. Cov Cath, and Thursday at Newport.

Sloppy game.  Vinson had a great night and ended with 42 points.  He also surpassed 1,000 points for his career.  Carried the Birds tonight.  Great determination and great player.  It seems that Highlands plays better when he has the ball in his hands.

Lloyd’s Sebastian had an off night.  Collins found his rhythm hitting 6 3’s to lead Lloyd.  Walker played a decent game.. missing free throws is a killer.

Wow! 42 out of the 55 points? What a night. You got to feed the hot hand.
