This impacts several sports, but it was announced by the Murray AD that their enrollment has surpassed the level of single A in Ky (hat tip to Adam Wells of WPSD). The Tigers have won several Region 1 All A Classics in the past few years and I’m guessing there are some small schools around here who are happy to hear this news.

The 2A tournament has had pretty low turnout relative to the number of teams eligible. In the tweet from Adam Wells it appeared that Murray was weighing their options on whether to participate in the 2A event or just play regular season games. I'm sure either decision will be fine for them. However, it will be odd to not see Murray in Richmond/Corbin at the state All A tournament each January.

Murray has been making some noise in the soccer All "A" tournament. They were runners-up last year, falling to frequent tournament winners Louisville Collegiate.

Walton-Verona is at 554. I assume they will be out in the next few years.

The range in school sizes in the All A was crazy.  The smallest was 34 (definite outlier) and the largest were in the 500s.  The majority were probably 200-350.  The difference between 200 and 550 is huge.  The two winners HC and Newport were 320 and 365 so in the middle.
