Both teams played hard from the first whistle to the last.  Pikeville was knocking down their shots and kept a slight lead through most of the game.  They did extend it to seven in the third quarter but the Indians fought back. If I had to guess Pikeville outrebounded HC at least in the first three quarters.  In the fourth quarter Hayes hit a three to get it down to one and it went back and forth but with less than a minute Nelson hit 1/2 free throws and the Panthers got the rebound but were unable to score and Hunt hit 2/2 free throws to ice the game with 2.6 seconds left.  It was a great week of basketball.  Congrats to both teams

Huge congrats to @rjaland @Baseball Nut 24!!!   Enjoy this back-to-back Championship.  What a great accomplishment.  

If my memory serves, Julia Hunt is also back-to-back All A Classic MVP....that has to be a very short list on either side (boys or girls).

Thanks DD it was a fun week in Corbin following this team. This is a special group of kids and seniors. You are correct Julia Hunt now with B2B All A Tournament MVPs!
