They could have easily run a TON of time on each possession just running motion and working on other things.  They clearly didn't.  They had to have at least 30 possessions in the 2nd half, even if they shot it exceptionally well with virtually no push-back from Ft. Knox, they obviously weren't doing anything to slow the tempo and elongate the possessions.

There is a mercy rule. I believe it is 35 points.

I understand coaches may want their better players to reach their “average” and have all players score, but during that 62-2 half, have those players play with some bench players that will get them involved in game play at a better level. Mix it up more than take your starters running circles around the other team.

Many moons ago, I watched Fort Knox get beat by over 100.

And it could have been worse.

 

Fort Knox would get beat by .500 freshmen teams and Bethlehem is a veteran All A favorite (along with O'Cath) with an All American (Macy, who didn't really pad her stats).

Fort Knox needs to drop out of the district and pick its own sked (like Grace James is doing).

 

A mediocre (by Etown standards) Elizabethtown team hammered Knox by 80.
