The Kangaroos have a nice squad - play team ball with intensity and not afraid to mix it up inside. Their star player, Logan Smith drilled five 3-pointers, most from 20+ feet out and finished with 24 points. WHC played some good D, but turnovers led to a rash of Cov Cath baskets.  

It was a game of scoring runs by the Colonels: 9-0 to open the game, 9-0 in the Q2, and 26-0 in Q3. CCH began subbing deep from the varsity in the second half of Q3, and it was almost all JV in Q4.

Big improvement in turnovers for CCH on the night and moved the ball well - 15 assists. Leading the Colonels scoring: Hussey 25; McGillis 18; Miller 14. 

Nice post game gathering of the two teams after a Colonels to Kangaroos presentation. The Aussies brought a small, but positive, vocal crowd, which included their girls team. The Crazies crossed the court and sat behind the WHC fans after halftime with some playful banter between the two.

A large time was had by all.

When we were at Brossart we played a game with an Australian National development team. They spent a day with us at school. I found the coach's business card the other day and I still have the boomerang they gave us. Really good experience for our school, team, and staff. They invited to Australia to play and do clinics...... wasn't in the budget lol.

Cheers to CCH coaches, players and students. What a class act and looked so welcoming to the Austrailian players. Way to make NKY proud!

Not familiar with the Australian education system.   Is this the Aussie equivalent of a high school, or is this a college team with college aged students athletes?
