I know, I was wondering the rule was there and the announcer was talking about it like it is the NFL, I am confused. 

17-7 Mayfield, start of the 2nd quarter. 

No such thing as uncatxable in NFHS. But common sense helps in certain instances. Play by play said both were out of bounds when the ball got there.
