Broken bone in his throwing shoulder requires season-ending surgery.

It’s not like he was setting the world on fire, but the Browns’ chances of making a lot of noise probably took a major nosedive.

Big bummer for Browns fans.

They try to not be the mistake on the lake, but the Browns can't get out of their own way.   Dude was clearly hurt and they guilted him into playing because they were stupid enough to guarantee his contract.

That is terrible.  And like you mentioned mcpapa, it is not like he was setting the world on fire but the Browns were winning games.

His initial injury was I believe and ankle.   He actually injured the shoulder in the first half of the game.  He knew it was bad, but he and the staff kept running him out there and here we are.

He's been trash, contract not withstanding.  They've won in spite of him, not necessarily because of him.  And trust me, I'm an expert on winning with a cruddy quarterback.

They're more dangerous with this kid from UCLA

That definitely was not the QB worthy of a fully guaranteed contract.
