  • Would anyone like to talk about the game? If the Dixie team from last week shows up, this is going to be a battle.

I just don't know. I have seen Dixie's stats that they post. Some of their players have more tackles than plays in a game! They are much better than their losing record suggests.

In these parts, there's the @Randy ParkerKiss Of Death (RPKOD) when picking basketball games.  Your record may merit a @MaddenCurse44Kiss Of Death (MC44KOD) for football picks. Sorry Red Col

I believe this will be a close game second time around. Dixie is capable of pulling the upset if they win the turnover battle. Crazier upsets have happened. Brach and Brody show will be fun to watch.

It should be an absolute Nail Biter. Dixie is definitely the best 5-6 team in the State. I just hope the Birds survive this one healthy. I think Dixie had one player register 47 tackles in the first game against Highlands and 12 of those were for a loss!

Speaking of opening wounds, didn't we already beat Dixie by 30 this year and now we have to play these guys again?

What has changed in the past 5 weeks to make it seem that Dixie will some how play that much better this time around?

Not sure. That is probably a question for @Shake N.

All I know is when you have the District COY, anything can happen!!!

Four of their 5 games since have been blowouts. 3-1 in those games. They ALMOST beat Cooper after turning them over 4 times in the 2nd half. Play calling was impeccable but execution was lacking. Looking back further, they also almost beat SK, Beechwood and CCH.

☝?What @Shake Nsays. And if you have seen the Stats they are posting….

I get the close losses but Highlands blew them out after those close losses.

I believe the game was much closer than the score indicated. If you looked at the Dixie Stat sheet, the Birds were fortunate to escape with the W.

Dixie was flying around on defense that night. I believe their official stats listed 129 tackles on the 71 offensive plays (8 or 9 resulting in scores) and special teams returns Highlands had.

Oh @MaddenCurse44, how you love to stir the pot! @Fan of Karenand I were discussing you at MARBL last night. We know it is tough to be a Pioneer this time of year and you are always welcome on our BUS!

Thank you I am in if they start Lorenzen at qb! I used love talking to Jared when I would run in to him.

@Shake N There is absolutely no doubt about that. The Colonel Stat Tracker definitely has some serious Carpal Tunnel keeping up this season! Those boys are putting up some numbers!
