It is a really good format and whom ever came up with it should be commended.  On a side note, the Birds 7th and 8th grade teams are playing in the championship games this weekend at Ludlow.

I love this "championship" format. Every team gets to play an equally competitive opponent and the top 2 get to play for first place.

People from Park Hills and Fort Thomas waste ZERO chance to argue about who is better, why they are better, why their team either won or lost last time, and how good their teams were during the 80's/9

Gorgeous pass from Harris to Lorenzen in the left rear corner of the endzone for a touchdown. PAT is good.

Birds leading 28-7 with 0:13 left in 2Q.

It really was gorgeous CWB.  Both the pass and catch.

I am sitting here thinking Highlands is ranked #1 in 5A and this is their Frosh team.  The future looks extremely bright in Fort Thomas.

Jackson Payne is intercepted by John Feldbruegge on the final play of the first half.

Highlands leads Covington Catholic 28-7 at the half in Park Hills.

CCH is in trouble if their defense keeps biting on every screen pass like they have been.

Spencer Clukey is being loaded into an ambulance as we speak on a stretcher. He walked off the field after a 2 minute injury timeout complaining about his head. And that's after just returning from 3 weeks on concussion protocol.

Highlands was definitely seeing a lot of success on their screen plays.
