Well, I’d argue that if Cooper or Dixie beat Highlands, then Highlands wasn’t #1 to begin with. And none would compete with the 6A giants.

You are making my point again.  Ryle and SK are no where close to competing with the good 6A teams and the others all have interesting parts to play in 5A.

Back to the game, the poll is currently 32 to 14 Raiders. 

Our own BGP rankings have Simon ranked 10th and Ryle ranked 11th so for argument's sake the rankings say it is even.

What does Calpreps say about the matchup?  Are the TP94 Power Ratings released this week yet?

Only making your point if you believe Cooper and Dixie are capable of pulling off an upset that would have any bearing on the 5A championship. I don’t think many around the state believe that.

Highlands rolled Dixie and were rolling Cooper when they took their foot off the gas. Good teams, but not championship caliber.

Capable, yes, probable, no.  But, they both may get a shot at it.

Same song. Different season. SK does not pose a threat to the top 5 or 6 teams in 6A this year. I remember when Trinity visited SK last year and an upset was in the forecast. The only upset I remember was SK being upset because there were two halves to play.

TP94 Ratings out tomorrow and they like Ryle in this one.

Their top 2 receivers are a freshman a d sophomore. Several Freshman play JV also.

I believe Ryle is only starting 3 seniors. A lot of Sophomores starting in key positions: 2 WR's, 2 LB's, 2 DB's, 2 OL, plus backup QB and RB.
