Mason Co. splits sessions to give each team a fair split of seating. There is such a crowd for every game that if you do not split sessions, the teams playing last get little to no seating in the lower arena.

Mason has run it with class in the past. I personally wish that Mason would keep the tourney. I know that it is unfair to give Mason the tourney each year, but they do a great job every time they run it.

You are correct, Mason Co. does an outstanding job running the regional tournament.....when you do something for 30+ years, you tend to get pretty good at it.

I think that playing games on a Sunday will kill the attendance with those like ladiesbballcoach states not with the true fans but with the casual fan and they count as well especially at the gates.

This post might make the most sense of any opinionated post I have read concerning this thread, even if it is on a sarcastic note:thumb:

Only the second part was meant to be sarcastic, Mason Co. does do a tremendous job. :thumb: I just hope that when Montgomery Co. hosts it next year that people keep in mind the fact that Mason Co. has had it for 30+ years and it will be unrealistic to expect Montgomery Co. to pull it off flawlessly in their first attempt. I can promise you this though, the powers that be at Montgomery Co. will work as hard as anyone and do whatever it takes to make it the best it can be.

From a small school fan, I think the Fieldhouse does an excellent job. Leave it alone.:thumb:
