I don’t know these boys, but I have lived in Ann Arbor and have certainly been to many UK games.  Michigan is a much better program and the two cities are very different.  I am curious why they changed their minds.

There are a lot of Kentucky kids who've dreamed of playing for UK, program prestige doesn't matter to them. Could be the case here. There are also instances when local schools don't show much interest initially, and then when a big school offers, they suddenly become interested.

Lately, it has been the other way around with UK. They offer and then bigger schools suddenly become interested; a lot of their recruiting success can be contributed to that. The twins have been on UK's radar for a long, long time. 

No inside info but once they came back to KY the chances of them still going to Michigan were pretty much over IMO. 

The inside info is they are big buddies and live with guy Bailey. They came back for the summer like they always do and work out at  the Somerset facilities with guy Bailey. Guys mom is hell bent on him being a D1 player and she thought going to Corbin they would get him into EKU. They start talking to the twins to come back then after they decided to come back UK called Somerset and asked them not to put in against them becoming eligible and Somerset told them we were worried about our team they never fill out a Covid waiver required by law. Then stoops calls KHSAA and presto they are eligible. And another stipulation in helping them flip to UK is they offer Guy bailey a walk on spot at UK and everyone is happy. Now you know the rest of the story.
