PT led 37-0 at the half and this one went about as expected.

I will say, Hopkinsville showed some fight tonight and made some nice plays, there was no quit at all. #4 for the Tigers is a player and played really well on defense in coverage. 

PT moves to 5-0 and will host Allen County-Scottsville next week. Hopkinsville is now 0-5 and will play at Warren East next.

I'm kinda giving up hope on that front. PT is 5 for 5 this season in exorbitant amounts of penalties. It's almost too unreal to believe sometimes. 

A lot of the points PT has given up weren't because of the defense, it's because the other team starts drives in PT territory routinely because of the penalties or will advance half a field in one drive because of them. 

PT has the pieces, it's going to be a shame if this is one of the reasons they lose in the playoffs. You're not beating any of the top tier teams in 4A with these types of mistakes. 

It may just be where I'm sitting in northern Kentucky, but Paducah is quietly off to a 5-0 start in 4A. The Blue Tornado has averaged 41 points per game on offense with two 6A teams and one 5A team on the front half of their regular season schedule, and they've averaged a 22 point scoring margin per victory this season.

Consider my eyebrows raised.

Speaking of the HopTown area, did Charlie's Steakhouse ever re-open after the fire?

I'm glad Tilghman is good again, one of those programs that makes KY football better when they are rolling.

So it did not re-open in Hopkinsville, but it moved to Springfield Tennessee and is now called Torinos. Had a bit of an Italian flair to it now.

Just curious on how you think District 1 will play out behind PT. Do you think it’ll be Logan East or ACS at the 2 seed? Really tough district man, so many good teams @TilghmanPride

If I had to guess right now, I feel like Logan is a small step above of both East and ACS, who are very similar I feel. On a given night, all of them could very well swap out wins, but I just think right now Logan is the best of the 3. 

Logan County just won a 3 point overtime game against ACS last night, so it's definitely really close. 

This years PT team is the most talented and deepest team they've had in a long time. They'll be a very tough out in the playoffs, regardless who they play..
