Tigers had 3 turnovers and you can't give a good offensive team like Elder extra possessions. Tigers also had trouble stopping Elder's running game who had a big O-Line. Tigers are now 3-1.

Thanks for the updates @Tigerpride94!

I thought X played pretty well but Elder was better.  This was a great game for X.

Wildest play was when St. X was kicking FG and holder didn't catch low snap and picked up ball scrambled and threw ball to X player near goal who caught it for TD. It was more of a heave it up before you get tackled rather than nice throw.

Good showing by X. The GCL South is no joke.

Elder may be best team in GCL South this year. Moeller beat St. X tonight so the Elder/Moeller game should be a good one.

X/Moe/Elder games are usually close, with LaSalle back a little most years. It's not uncommon for the loser of an X/Moe/Elder regular season game to win the rematch in the playoffs. But we will let the Buckeyes sort that out themselves.

Big game next week for the Tigers!

Haven't seen that number against a Tiger defense in a long time, or ever.

Thought St. X fought hard, but as stated earlier Elder was a bit too big and physical for the Tigers' defense and they just couldn't get that one more stop when they cut it to 24-21. Tiger offense did some good things but the 3 turnovers were hard to overcome.

Good game to learn from and Tigers should be ready for next week once making the necessary corrections.

Feels like St X let's the state of Ky down almost every year against the Ohio teams. Love that they’re bold enough to schedule. Good enough to at least compete. I’m always hopeful they can win. But rarely does that happen.

Good job Tigers!

X's O line and running game looked very strong. X made a few mistakes but played hard. No one likes to lose but this game should help X as the season progresses.

Elder and its QB ran the ball extremely well (like they did that against St Edward the week before). Elder's O line was darn good.

I have felt that way too. Trinity kinda went into Ohio and started pushing the GCL around. Or at least was winning at like a 50% clip. St X went into Ohio and has gotten handled at like a 95% clip. The GCL is one of the better conferences in America IMO so it's no shame in losing to those teams. I just thought St. X would have adjusted better.
