Yes. They are suffering because of the arrogance/stupidity of their loved ones.

I'm sort of with Deuce and sort of not.  The stupidity and arrogance makes it hard to empathize with 4 of the 5 victims.  Especially after reading the CEO's comments.  I probably don't feel much empathy for him.

Still, human life is so special, and I hate that 5 lives ended in what seems to me like one of the worst ways to go.  Maybe I haven't done stupid to that degree, but I've done my fair share.

I hate that it happened, and I definitely feel bad for the loved ones.
