Wow.  That's a pretty embarrassing schedule for a once proud program.

20 days away from start of the new season.  Hype hasn’t been this high in Rock in a long time. With the addition of QB Tucker Warren from NL as well as LB Austin Johnson Rock looks poised to make a run at district and beyond. All the 7 on 7 have looked good for this team competing at every event. Only camp stands in our way from the start of the season. This rock team has the potential to do big things. Let’s go Rock!

Rock has some good young talent coming up and it would be good to see them in the top of that district.

I agree.  I've got nothing against Rock but I've been hearing about young talent coming up for more than a decade.  I do think they will be better than last year but make a big step up seems like wishful thinking....again.  But time will tell and maybe I'll be proven wrong.

Guess we will have to see I believe with what we have this year that we can win the district we have a team capable of doing just that. Our line has the size now to compete in the trenches. We have a QB as talented as anyone and more so than some in our district. We have speed and talent at the WR position for once and two great running backs. I don’t see why we can’t win the district this year just have to go out and prove it now.  This will be a totally different looking team than last year not only player wise but also with a completely new offense. Sure we will run the ball bc we can but this year we will be priority passing team which will make teams have to line up and play defense and not stack the box and expect the run but good news is we only have to wait two more Fridays and then it’s game week.

With that schedule, the stats should look pretty good.  But how much of a real contender for anything beyond district will they be?  They should have about 7 automatic wins there.

With that schedule, they ought to go 9-1 in the regular season. And 10-2, maybe 11-2 overall. Especially with all that young talent.

The schedule is extremely underwhelming for a team ready to take that district etc.

They can go just as far as anyone else in the district will go I don’t see anyone in our district winning state. It’s been since Tom Larkey was there that we made it passed the second round. Parkey never got Rock out of the second round of the playoffs that’s why he was ultimately let go he just couldn’t win meaningful games. This team has the talent and coaching to win district and get that egg off our back of not making it pass second round. It’s a building process still but we are getting better.
