I'm not trying to say that this is true, but...

 

After 9/11, the Patriots won the Superbowl, which was obviously a helpful aspect to that area, in a sports kind of way.

 

After Katrina, the Saints are now able to make it to the Superbowl, which would be helpful to that area too, in a sports kind of way.

 

Now, I'm not saying that the NFL is fixing this stuff so these teams win, but I think that New Orleans, who was the second worst team last year, will make it to the Superbowl and probably win, and I don't think that the Saints and the Patriots both making it to Superbowls after a disaster is a coincidence...

The Bears are an absolute fraud, they are 2-3 really suspect 3rd down calls from Holmgren from watching this game on the couch...the Saints will completely spread the field, and nickel and dime the Bears to death...

The World Trade Centers, in New York, are attacked and fall. New England Patriots win Superbowl.

 

The worst natural disaster in US history happens in New Orleans. New Orleans Saints have an opportunity to win the Superbowl.

 

Now, I am not saying that it is. I mean, there wasn't anything that happened last year and the Steelers won it or when the Rams won it. I just think the NFL is trying to help out these cities, but I could be wrong.

To your early question about whether or not it is a coinsidence, the answer would be "yes", IF this made any sense at all.

I guess Cincinnati was a Steelers town last year when they won the Super Bowl....I mean, they ARE on the same river.

When this many people are picking the Saints, I'll take the Bears. Especially now, when all four of the "experts" on Sportscenter picked the Saints.

SAINTS To much offense! They get up with Bush in the slot and Duece as the 1back. Rex has to play from behind, the LBers pin back their ears and "The Saints Go Marching On!"

Gotta give the Bears the edge outside in the elements. It would be nice to see the overrated Bears get outscored.
