The pitch clock is clearly working as intended. It's a good thing for baseball. 

So, my initial take on the pitch clock was that it'd be something that I wouldn't like. I was a traditionalist. 

 

After attending an MLB game the other day (when Cruz hit his first bomb) that all changed. The game needed sped up. It's a whole lot easier to keep your attention on the game now. I was home and in my bed, on a weekday 7:10pm start time game, by 10pm. I feel like I can take my kids to a weekday game now without fear of being out until midnight. That beautiful. 

 

The positives, by far, outweigh the negatives.
