Wow, did not see this one coming. Hupe upset for Scott, and probably SK's worse loss of the season. Their record against teams that have scored more than 55 points continues to decline... and I am not sure that they are heading into tournament time in the right direction.

Congrats to Scott, SK showed some life but it was too late.  Got to hit those FTs. 

Hey Sk Whaaat Happpppened?  Defense was the key for Scott.  4-4 after 1st Qtr.  Give some credit to Scott's Bigg's for containing the 7'3 Kid from SK.  Yeah he got some easy dunks, but overall Scott played great defense on him on man to man and SK played Zone on Scott. Scott has had close games all year. Most games within a few points either way. Scott's record does not reflect the season they have had. Great win by the eagles.

Scott has won 6 of the last 8 games vs Simon Kenton.

46 points is absolutely inexcusable. Their offensive scheme/game plan/philosophy is really ridiculous…biggest school in region.  And one of the least dynamic teams.

Any stats on this game? One thing I’ve noticed is when they struggle to score Dynes has very few shot attempts.

He may be a great coach but SK offensive struggles have happened so many games. I don’t know much about their roster- do they have any football/track go guys who play basketball? Where are the explosive athletes?  Surely a school of 1800 must have a couple?

Dynes was their leading scorer with 17. Still believe he needed the ball more down the stretch. He was getting to the Ft line or scoring almost every time he touched it in the 4th Quarter.

I’ve wondered the same thing, it seems they never have those freak athletes big schools always have. 
They had a few last year, and if they would’ve ran the defense they have ran this year they would’ve been one of the best or maybe the best team in the region.

They are undoubtedly at the school. They have to be statistically speaking. Certain schools- OC, Collins, prime examples, always seem to have athletes who also play basketball.  North clearly focuses a lot on developing athleticism in the off season.  A number of other bigger schools have basketball players, who are sometimes coincidentally athletic. It’s probably based on what the coach wants. Word travels fast among kids and they know whether or not to bother trying out. But it’s not the 1970/80s. You HAVE to have athletes to win.

Absolutely, they are a must in today's game!

Collins for example. Kenyon Goodin who is their best player isn't considered a basketball player, as he has division 1 offers for the QB position in football. I believe their 2nd best player Quintin Simmons plays football as well.
